Led by Marek Omilian, CFA.
GPU Capital is a Seattle firm that finances NVIDIA GPU servers for AI cloud providers, through full-stack ownership, where the fund owns the servers and leases them to the operator, and first-lien or second-lien loans. Our Managing Partner makes the credit decisions, and you can reach him directly.

How he works
Three kinds of experience go into each deployment we finance.
As an owner of GPU equipment
He reads a financing the way an owner of the hardware would: what the servers earn under contract, what they cost to run, and what they will be worth when the contract ends.
As an appraiser
He leads GPU Appraisals, and his appraisal experience informs our underwriting. Because GPU Appraisals is affiliated with GPU Capital, its valuations of equipment we own or finance are not independent (conflicts of interest).
On both sides of compute
He has seen what compute capacity costs to build and what customers will pay to use it. A financing has to work for the operator and for its customer, or it does not work for the lender.
About the firm
GPU Capital is a Seattle firm that finances NVIDIA GPU servers for AI cloud providers. The fund we manage owns servers and leases them to providers under multi-year contracts, or lends against them with a first or second lien, in deployments of about $1 million to $5 million. Our Managing Partner, Marek Omilian, CFA, makes the credit decisions. As of September 2026, we were in discussion with more than 70 cloud providers. Discussions may not lead to financings.3

GPU Appraisals
GPU Appraisals is a practice of Value Prism Consulting that appraises GPU and server infrastructure for lenders and finance teams. Marek Omilian leads it. It is affiliated with GPU Capital, not independent.
What a report values
- Fair market value
- What the hardware would trade for today between a willing buyer and seller.
- Orderly liquidation value
- What a sale would realistically recover in an orderly process. It sizes the downside.
- Going-concern value
- What the hardware is worth in continued operation under its contract.
The conflict
GPU Appraisals’ valuations of equipment we own or finance are not independent. The person who values the collateral also makes the credit decisions, and an appraisal that runs high could let us advance too much against a server, or carry holdings at values that cannot be realized.
